Six issues each 36pp., with semi-glossy color covers and b/w interior. Laid in loose is flyer about this 6 issue series, signed by Don Simpson. This is an adaptation of the 1932 book, consequently there is more depth than one might expect had the source been either of the two movie versions. Although Simpson’s style serves him better for the depiction of people than for a giant ape, the black-and-white artwork is clean and expressive with a strong Will Eisner (The Spirit) influence.
