A "Soho typescript," or "Soho bible" - pornographic fiction, mimeographed from typescript, text printed on one side only, with illustrations (photographs) bound in. Cover is a photo on stiff photographic paper. Printed clandestinely and sold "under the counter" in pornography's great time-honored tradition. ALIAS THE WHIP is a tale of female submission, torture and flagellation; its various actors include a sadistic dwarf and the man with the largest penis in France. Photos feature a blonde in stockings being flogged. First line: "Roger Dines walked slowly along Peter Street, Leicester Square, his walking stick swinging carefully, his hat at just the right angle and his suit quite impeccable.."
