A "Soho typescript," or "Soho bible" - pornographic fiction, mimeographed from typescript, text printed on one side only, with illustrations (photostats) bound in. Cover is an illustration on photographic paper. Printed clandestinely and sold "under the counter" in pornography's great time-honored tradition. "Chateau of Pain" is typed at the top of the first page, whuch begins, "The Countess Zorana was a cruel, sadistic woman, she was also a cunning woman, and had set up a fiendish way a method of supplying beautiful girls - mainly of European origin - as slaves and harem girls to rich Eastern potentates." RUUBERSLAVE documents their training, costuming, and fiendish sadomasochistic tortures.
