8vo. 292pp. A translation of "Josefine Mutzenbacher, oder, Die Geschichte einer Wienerischen Dirne," a work originally published in 1906 and generally ascribed to Felix Salten (1869-1945). Rebound in blue cloth covered boards overlaid with three-quarters purple paper and matching endpapers. The text is complete, although the front matter and ffep is lacking. An olive-buff paper label, presumably from the spine of the original and giving the title and "Paris | 1931" has been pasted to the spine; the text block is clean and resembles work from that era.
