GREEN GIRLS; Translated from the French.
London & Paris: No Publisher, [1950s].
Item #44345
4.75 x 6.25" 100pp. A brother and sister are discovered engaging in sexual play. They are quickly sent to distant and separate boarding schools. Through letters to her brother, Adelina describes her adventures with the headmistresses, faculty and her class mates, involving various sorts of sex play, including flagellation. The original featured sixteen letters, divided into two books. For reasons of economy, only the first two chapters (of four), "Leaving for School" and "The Flagellation" are reprinted, as well as the first three sections of "The Nocturnal Feast." Due to the episodic, epistolary nature of the work, this can be read without a feeling of incompletion. Cover states "Only for Millitary," which is typical of the misspellings and typos throughout. As for "London & Paris," that may be wishful thinking or a purposeful misdirection. A curious and interesting item, as many of these books and pamphlets of ambiguous origin often are.
