120pp [110 pp + x]. Reportedly translated by Richard Seaver, from Les Exploits d'un jeune Don Juan, an erotic novel first published at Paris in 1905 or 1906 by Elias Gaucher, a fly-by-night publisher who hawked his wares round the booksellers in a suitcase. Although usually credited as an original work by Apollinaire, it is actually a word-for-word translation of a German work by the poet of Kinder-Geilheit. Second printing (no price on back cover). Reprinted together with The Debauched Hospodar as No. 70 of The Traveller's Companion Series. [Kearney-Carroll 1.4.2].
