It was formed after a bitter staff dispute with publisher Max Scherr split the nationally known Berkeley Barb into new competing underground weeklies. This issue features: report on the the Los Siete de la Raza trial by Marjorie Heins, with a pov from the members of Los Siete (Mario Martinez, Tony Martinez, Nelson Rodriguez, Gary Lescallet, Jose Rios, and Daniel Melendez), a look at the end of the Beattle's by Otis, and the state of uprising in America by wandering son.
