Item #66483

Unpaged. Illustrated with b/w artwork (12 plates). Erotic spanking / flagellation fiction. Reprints STRAPS: The Artful Tricks of a Female Flagellant (Lashe Press, 1936). Story begins: "I, who write this, am a young female flagellant - the dyed-in-the-wool type of masochist whose only joy in life is to feel the smart, stinging blow of a lash applied to by bare posterior. Call me "perverted," call me "tainted," or what you will, the fact remains that I am embued with a masochist-sadistic complex which demands full satisfaction in almost any form of chastisement." Illustrations include women spanked with bare hands, brushes, and shoes; flogged with whips, cats, and a belts. Chastisement is at the hands of men. Illustrations are not entirely regular in style or dimensions, and appear to come from two different sources. "Printed for Members of the Whip & Rod Club | London in the Reign of Her Majesty Year Two." Spelling and usage tends to follow American English; illustrations resemble some seen in American readers of the 1930s. A curious and attractive item.
