A "Soho typescript," or "Soho bible" - pornographic fiction, mimeographed from typescript, text printed on one side only, with illustrations (photostats) bound in. Cover is an illustration on photographic paper. Printed clandestinely and sold "under the counter" in pornography's great time-honored tradition. SOUTH SEA TORTURE features shipwrecked men and women and their deviant sexual tortures at the hands of South Seas natives. Unique tortures including lizards and crabs used as implements of pain; spears; bondage, etc. First lines read: "They had left Bali and were headed south-east. The Timor Sea was not easy navigation for a man with Alan King's experience and for the following six days he was at the helm and keeping an eye on his less-experienced friend and employer Raymond Lederer.."
