Description: 8.5 x 11 inches. 17 pages. Gay erotic fiction featuring rough sex. This appears to be a photocopy of a carbon copy typescript, typed one side of the leaf only; plain paper. Underground gay fiction, of the type passed hand-to-hand or otherwise clandestinely distributed. Tom Norman, in his introduction to American Gay Erotic Paperbacks: A Bibliography, notes that "the earliest erotic literature aimed primarily at the gay male, usually quite amateurish, was mostly in typewritten or mimeographed form, and passed surreptitiously from person to person. Producers of the stories faced imprisonment and harrassment if they were caught. Rarely were the stories more than a few pages long, but even if they were of greater length, they were almost never printed and bound." An interesting copy: first two paragraphs are struck through with ballpoint pen, and several corrections and additions are made with the same pen throughout. Story begins [crossed through]: Don't fume if you get a carbon of this. It's the absolute highlite of my life & I want to share it with several friends. I've just spent nine days as the slave of the roughest, toughest, sexiest guys I have ever met. Anything else in my life will be pale by comparison. [After the cross-out]: It all started on a trip home from Reno & back.
Condition: Stapled at corner; minor wear, corrections in pen. Very good.
